For the first time, the new Nissan Maxima was unveiled in New York at the 2015 auto show. Then the director of Nissan Carlos Ghosn himself presented a new generation.
The new generation of Nissan Maxima attracted attention, as the car received completely new body shapes, interior and technical characteristics. It is not for nothing that the new sedan was called sporty, the aerodynamic shape in a circle and the sporty features in the cabin speak of a powerful engine under the hood.

The first thing that catches your eye is the new Maxima V-shaped radiator grille, with a chrome insert, two more grille holes are located on the sides. In the very center, the designers placed the Nissan emblem. The front optics with their unusual shapes resembles the optics from the previous generation, but more cultivated. The front optics are based on halogen technology. The upper section of the optics is split in two, capturing the bonnet and the side section of the front fender. The optics of Maxima are equipped with daytime running lights.
The upper grille of the Maxima is separated from the lower grill of the bumper by a transverse crosspiece. An additional grille was placed at the very bottom for better engine airflow, thereby giving the Nissan Maxima a more sporty look. Fog lights were placed on the sides in the lower part of the bumper. The bumper itself has acquired a sporty shape, a lower part stretched forward and improved aerodynamics.
On the side of the Nissan Maxima, the curved lines of the body are visible from the front optics with a smooth transition to the end of the rear doors. The rear-view mirrors, pillars and part of the doors at the glass level are painted black, smoothly merging with the color of the roof at the rear. On the rear wing, the hind feet are clearly visible, they were most likely also taken from the previous model in shape and improved in a modern way. They are based on LED technology. The rear end of the Nissan Maxima is not at all like the previous generation. The curved shape of the trunk lid is somewhat reminiscent of a Volvo sedan, and the rear optics grab the trunk lid. A chrome strip was placed between the rear feet, and above it the Nissan emblem. The rear bumper also acquired a sporty look, underlined by a splitter, on the sides of which two exhaust pipes were placed.
The roof of Maxima will be panoramic with SV trim levels, and an antenna in the form of a shark fin is placed near the rear window. It can be said that the Nissan Maxima has truly become a sports sedan.
