A year and a half ago, at the autumn motor show in Paris, a conceptual copy of the Peugeot 2008 K1 class crossover was announced. Already in March 2013, it was presented in serial form. I must say that the Peugeot 2008 came off the assembly line with almost the same external data as the exhibit from the Paris Motor Show.

Looking at the car from the side

Many people say that the "live" Peugeot 2008 crossover is much more spectacular than in the photographs. The first thing that catches your eye is the unusually beautiful design of the car. If you try to describe his appearance in one line, then it can be done as follows - "Stylish crossover, without excessive avant-garde."

The face of Peugeot 2008 is decorated with several stretched headlights, which are equipped with integrated LED running lights. Also in front we see a trapezoidal grille on the radiator. A little aggression of the car is given by the trapezoidal pads on the bumper.

The car's ground clearance could be higher, but if in the photo it seems that the gap between the road and the body is less than a cigarette pack, then in nature it is not. The ground clearance of the European version of the crossover is really quite small and is equal to 16 cm.However, especially for Russian roads, the French increased the ground clearance by 10 mm. The lighting for the taillights seems to envelop the body. A slight hump on the top of the body has no functional properties and why, in fact, it is needed, many did not understand. Most likely this is also a design approach.

Opening the door of the crossover, you see its stylish and rich interior. Front panel that meets all modern standards. It rises somewhat above a small, low-slung rudder. Due to this arrangement, information from the devices and the display is more convenient to read. And for more comfortable use of the devices in the dark, there is an LED backlight. There is quite a lot of space in the cabin, so passengers will not feel any discomfort.
