Mercedes dealers decided to take the risk, but still start selling in Ukraine. They were not embarrassed by the difficult situation in the country, nor by the financial crisis and sales of the new Mercedes S class coupe (C217) start simultaneously with the presentation on world markets. Mercedes itself has always been considered one of the main symbols of luxury and the released model fully confirms this pattern. This model has many technical innovations and overt luxury items. The first include some of the running and structural features of the car, which will be discussed in more detail below, and the second may be evidenced by the fact that even the headlights of the car are decorated with Swarovski rhinestones, see the photo below.

Available Mercedes-Benz S-class models and price in Ukraine

Ukrainians can purchase several available complete sets at their disposal. The main distinction is made on the combination of different transmissions and engines:

S 500 4MATIC with a slightly smaller engine displacement of 4.7 liters and 455 hp. (price € 154,970). Average fuel consumption is 9.4-9.9 liters per 100 km, acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.6 seconds.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class 63 AMG Coupe engine with 5.5 liters and 585 horsepower (price 202 427 euros). Average fuel consumption 10.1 liters per 100 km, acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.2 seconds.
S 63 AMG 4MATIC Coupe engine with 5.5 liters and 585 horsepower (price 207 892 euros). Average fuel consumption 10.3 liters per 100 km, acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds.
S 65 AMG coupe with a 6 liter engine (exactly 5980 cc) and, accordingly, a capacity of 630 horses (price 292,152 euros). Average fuel consumption 11.9 liters per 100 km, acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.1 seconds.

The cheapest version will be the S 500 4Matic, an all-wheel drive version of the car. Its cost will be about 154,970 euros. However, they also promise the appearance of a rear-wheel drive version, the cost of which will be even cheaper. Despite the rather pessimistic forecasts for sales in Ukraine, the dealers of this brand are counting on a certain circle of buyers. According to the director of the Mercedes-Benz center dealer, there are already first buyers for cars in Ukraine.

Such a price for cars of this class is not a revelation. However, the car has many features. With which she is ready to surprise her future owners. The changes affected all details, from the modernization of the interior and body, and ending with many technical features and novelties. The chassis of the car is already familiar, it is practically the same as that of the standard S class. But the body was put on it already completely different - a two-door sports version in a rather original design. Helped to attract interested eyes and a roof made of material that can change shade.

Everything in the cabin suggests that the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe (C217) is a luxury item. Comfortable seats, equipped not only with the function of massage, heating and other amenities, but also supporting the driver in fairly sharp turns and bends.
