If we compare the new Porsche Cayenne with the previous generation, then the variety of engines has decreased. The famous charged version of the GTS has disappeared, but another hybrid configuration has been added with the most powerful 4.0 liter engine. Previously, the most powerful unit was the MCY.XA, with a volume of 4.8 liters and a capacity of 570 horses. An automatic transmission with four-wheel drive worked together.
Braking system and suspension of the Cayenne crossover
As befits a premium car, the Porsche Cayenne braking system is one of the best. As standard, the crossover is equipped with cast iron brake discs. As an option, they propose to install Porsche Surface Coated Brakes, made of cast iron with a special tungsten carbide coating. Finally, they offer the most expensive and most effective carbon-ceramic ones.
In addition to the choice of brake discs for Porsche Cayenne, the manufacturer also offers to choose the color of the caliper. It can be painted in the body color or the bright color chosen by the buyer. It is also possible to additionally place the inscription of the brand and model, the logo of the company or even an individual order. As mentioned above, depending on the configuration of the Porsche Cayenne, 19 "alloy wheels, 21" or 22 "alloy wheels can be installed in the base. It is worth noting that the tires for the front and rear axle of the crossover will be different.
Optics of the new Porsche Cayenne
No fewer changes were made to the optics, even with the naked eye you can understand that it has gone through a lot of improvements. Starting from the base version, the Porsche Cayenne headlights are fully LED, each with 5 lenses. The lenses are arranged in a cross, the central lens is larger, but the other 4 lenses are smaller in the corners.
Top-end configurations of the Porsche Cayenne crossover will acquire matrix optics with intelligent high-beam control. It is enough for the driver to switch the light control selector to the automatic state, then the system will do everything for you. In automatic mode, a certain high-beam sector will be turned off (dimmed), thereby excluding the option to blind the oncoming vehicle. A lot more updates were made to the rear feet of the Porsche Cayenne. The designers not only made them narrow and full LED, but also added a thin LED strip between the rear feet. It perfectly emphasizes the novelty of the Porsche Cayenne model and fits well into the overall design.
