According to the representatives of the National Police of Ukraine, starting from October 8, 2018, the control of compliance with the speed limit by the driver is resumed on the roads. In other words, in Ukraine, the speed control of cars and other vehicles will again be monitored.
There are many reasons for the resumption of speed control by drivers. Frequent accidents, violation of traffic rules, and so on, although so far they have not named a definite exact reason. The speed will be locked with TruCam devices, American production. As specified in the department of the National Police, all devices have passed certification and an expert opinion of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection in Ukraine.
The department of the National Police of Ukraine also noted that starting from October 8, the patrol police will record speeding in flight and issue only a warning to drivers, but not issue fines. According to the decree, such rules will apply only for the first week, in the future, the violator will be fined for speeding.
